Bowel Cancer NZ is a nationwide charity dedicated to patient support, advocacy, vital research and reducing the impact of bowel cancer.
Our long-term partnership with BCNZ is a collaborative approach, including driving awareness of symptoms by printed these on CottonSofts toilet paper packs, and encouraging Kiwis to get checked if they have any symptoms.
We have also promoted “Move your Butt” with on pack and media communications to encourage customers to participate and support. “Move your Butt” has become a company-wide favourite with our team.
In 2025 it was even closer to our hearts as we dedicated our efforts to our dear friend and colleague Hardi. He was a passionate supporter of MYB participating each year by taking lunchtime walks, weekend hikes and raising awareness and funds for BCNZ.
Awareness month in June is Bowel Cancer New Zealand’s biggest nationwide symptom awareness campaign. Their goal is to reach as many kiwis as possible, so they know the symptoms and to get checked if they have concerns.
Bowel cancer is 90% curable if caught early, and yet each year it kills the same number of people as breast and prostate cancer combined.
