The Move Your Butt Challenge is back for 2022!

Simply sign up, set yourself a challenge and get sponsored. Every dollar you raise goes to fighting bowel cancer in New Zealand.

CottonSofts have been a proud sponsor of Bowel Cancer New Zealand since 2013. This wonderful charity works tirelessly to reduce the impact of bowel cancer through life- saving awareness, education, advocacy, research and support.

CottonSoft staff always join Bowel cancer NZ in the Move Your Butt fundraiser. They ran, rowed, walked and cycled their way to $9500 worth of donations last year. Can you help us raise more funds this year? #JoinUs for MYB or just donate to our team.

Keep an eye out in-store for our fundraising CottonSofts 24 pack. All in support of a great Kiwi cause, with 50 cents from each pack donated to support Bowel Cancer New Zealand. You can help just by purchasing your trusted CottonSofts 24-pack, as part of this year’s Move Your Butt Fundraising campaign.

BCNZ GM, Rebekah Heal said “We are incredibly grateful for the continued support of our long term partner, Cottonsoft. Their support along with their collaborative approach to our projects has enabled us to grow from a small grass roots organisation to one that today is able to help the 1 in 8 New Zealander’s diagnosed with bowel cancer. Cottonsoft shares our aim of raising awareness of the disease with frank discussion, education and a drive to improve the bowel screening process across the country. They also promote our logo on every pack of Cottonsofts which helps build awareness of this disease.”

Many have a loved one or know of someone that has been affected by bowel cancer. Their country manager Kim Calvert, in particular, has a personal connection losing his father to bowel cancer following a 10-year fight. “Having witnessed the impact on my family, and knowing the vital difference early detection makes, it’s heart-breaking to think that over 1200 Kiwis a year (more than the road toll) are lost to what is a highly curable disease if caught early”.
